While on the topic of new ad campaigns, an Ad Campaign that we did at YST did not want you to miss is the Sony Vaio Ad Campaign. The campaign focuses on the slimness of the Vaio Models and hence Kareena Kapoor with the ( then)  size zero figure was the perfect choice for the Vaio series.

Why we at YST are discussing this campaign???…because of the amazing styling of Kareena in the campaign.

For Instance, look at the Ad Image above don’t you just love the look that the stylist has given to Kareena and those sandals..love them.

Next, came the Vaio Vivid series..and Kareena was back with the GO VIVID campaign, we undoubtedly loved the laptops and the dresses of Kareena in the commercial, which you all must have seen by now.Though, we did not like the print campaign of Vivid series very much ( see the image below…looks like something is missing there…don’t you also agree…) but we absolutely loved the fabulous ankle boots that Kareena is wearing with green dress in the above pic.

Before we leave you to enjoy the campaign, why don’t you tell us which color would you choose for the your Sony Vaio….we at YST are so confused cause we love all the colors…but we’ll choose the pink one…no….maybe the white one…or maybe we’ll stay with the evergreen black…what about you??

In a recent interview Kim Cattrall, the actress who played Samantha Jones in SATC series reveals how much trouble she had while getting fitted for clothes.

‘I’m not a sample size like Sarah and Kristin. I couldn’t wear a lot of the clothes the young designers would send us. I’d wear a lot of vintage… Sometimes the fittings would be eight hours long and your whole body would ache from having clothes pulled on and off,’ she said.

Now if that’s true then we at YST are amazed that Kim still managed to look great, wonder what she would look like if all designer clothes fit her as well….don’t you also wonder!!!

H&M will be adding another chapter to their list of collaborations with designers and this time it is the label Lanvin. Previously, H&M has worked with designers like Karl Lagerfeld and Mathew Williamson and now they will be working with Lanvin designers Alber Elbaz and Lucas Ossendrijver to design women’s wear and men’s wear respectively. Last collections flew off the rack and we at YST have no doubt that these will too.

We at YST adore Lanvin’s dresses and accessories and while we won’t be the ones benefiting from such a collaboration, we appreciate it very much.

Manolo Blahniks were the preferred shoes for Carrie ( Sarah Jessica Parker ) throughout the series and even in the movie ( SATC 1 ), Carrie and Big reunite over a pair of Manolo Blahniks…and specifically, the ones featured here…

And ironically, the designer himself ( shown above ) hates being dragged into the series, according to him he wants to see his designs being worn by intelligent girls and not girls like the character Carrie Bradshaw in the series…and he went so far as to say…I would like people like Uma Thurman to wear Manolo’s instead…
