The India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) was recently held at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai.
Designs were showcased by brands like Gitanjali, Mirari and designers like Farah Khan and Varuna Jani. Check out some of the designs here and we want to let you know that we are showing only those designs that we at YST liked best…

Deepika looked gorgeous in the golden sari and the jewels were definitely becoming to her.

Even Giesele looked stunning but this is a look that we often do see her with.

We at YST especially liked the design shown above.

Again here are some designs that we liked, check out the images below.

We especially liked the Kundan Jewellery worn by the model in the next image.

And finally Katrina for Nakshatra … one ends up looking more at her than at anything she wears…

How did you like the designs???
Do keep tuned in for more.

Check out the Spring Summer 2010 Looks that Indian Designers have showcased this season. From Rohit Bal and Tarun Tahiliani to Neeta and Niksha Lulla to Gauri and Nainika Karan, we bring you all the showstoppers here at yourstylentrend.com.

We at yourstylentrend.com loved Urmila’s Look. Ranbir also looks good - as always, Sushmita Sen’s Little Black Dress is a little too little for her height – although we like the dress but somehow we don’t like it on Sushmita….Katrina can look so much better in western dresses…we are a little disappointed by her look here.
Well that’s not all, you can see more looks in our Spring Summer 2010 Issue and check out all the looks that our very talented Indian Designers showcased in our Spring Summer 2010 Lookbook.

Katrina Kaif has been bagging endorsement contracts right and left and this time she has been signed as the brand ambassador of Lux Purple.
The commercial featuring Katrina has been shot in Bangkok and directed by Marco. Katrina has been styled by fashion designer Rocky S for the ad, the music has been composed by trio Shankar Ehsaan Loy.
What needs to be seen is if she will be replacing Aishwarya Rai for Lux as well just like she replaced her for Nakshatra Jewellery Range and Barbie.

What got us interested in Olay was their ad campaign and the number of people that seem to be endorsing Olay today.
Kajol, Soha Ali Khan, Katrina Kaif….
Katrina Kaif endorses the regeneration range whereas the Olay Total Effects is endorsed by Kajol.
Coming to their ad campaign, frankly, we loved the Olay Ad Campaign that featured Sushmita Sen, Sush still has that something to herself ( even after all these years.) She looked so refreshing and her skin looked amazing in the commercial.
Kajol may be a good replacement but somehow we feel Olay lost something when it let go of Sush in favor of Kajol. Moreover, Kajol has always been admired more for her acting skills rather than her beauty (nothing personal against Kajol, we are still mesmerized by all her performances).
So what we wanted to ask our readers was that do you think replacing Sushmita Sen has helped or harmed Olay ?

Katrina Kaif on the other hand seems to be bagging endorsement contracts right and left, replacing biggies like Aishwarya Rai in Nakshatra Jewellery line and Sushmista in Pantene.
She also stars in the Veet Hair Removal Cream and Lakme commercials and she looks gorgeous in all the campaigns. Watch this space as we review all Katrina Kaif’s commercials.
