After almost an year with Madonna, Dolce and Gabbana seems to have moved forward. Their Spring 2011 Ad Campaign does not feature Madonna and that’s refreshing. But the label seems stuck on Black and White as their latest campaign is again Black and White, though we are not complaining as the released image is amazing. Check it out for yourself here.

This seems a very nice start and we feel the rest of the campaign is going to be equally good. Lets see when we get to see that, till then keep tuned in and always be in STYLE.

The campaign, again in Black and White just like the Spring Summer 2010 Ad Campaign, features Madonna and this time the Italian Housewife ( which she poses as in the campaign ) goes shopping…

Grocery Shopping…that’s what the picture is portraying though Madonna’s dress looks more like she is headed to Church.

We at YST really like the campaign and besides this we also loved Madonna in the campaign…she looks amazing…Don’t you also think so?

Just as we covered handbags and makeup previously and brought you the Spring Summer 2010 Handbag and Spring Summer 2010 Makeup Trends, similarly we are back to give you a glimpse of the trends in sunglasses this season.

So what really can be said about the trends is that oversized sunglasses are still in….they are here to stay.

The colors trends are more towards the neutral shades, like black or brown in frames and with tinted lenses which match the frame.

And you can see from the above campaigns that Aviators are still very in.

It is being said that wayfarers are making a comeback but according to us here at yourstylentrend.com wayfarers never really went out of fashion.

Check out Dree hemingway for Valentino in an Ad Campaign that seems inspired by the one that Madonna did for Louis Vuitton. Check out all the ruffles and especially the roses and bows on the bags, similar styles are already trickling down in the market.

Definately not one of the best campaigns of this season, hopefully we’ll see better campaigns from the brand in the coming seasons.

The just released D&G Spring Summer 2010 Ad Campaign featuring models Cato, Daria, Jacquelyn, Jules & Katrin photographed by Mario Testino has the Denim girl  casual look as its main theme.

Well, we at yourstylentrend.com like the cool casual look of the girls in the feature but on pure artistic grounds, we would like to say that we loved the Madonna Campaign of Dolce and Gabbana. Since both the campaigns belong to the same parent company a comparison was inevitable and for us the Madonna campaign wins hands down.

Again, we know that we should not be comparing but we just could not help ourselves.

As we have already said before, come December and a lot of compilations surface which trace the best and worst of the entire year. Here is one that discusses the worst trends of 2009.

 From Harem Pants to Bandage Dresses ( we don’t agree with this one ) to Pantlessness ( we completely agree with this one, only Lady Gaga can actually pull this trend off ).

 Not to miss is the most Impractical Shoe by Alexander Mc Queen, no wonder a lot of top models refused to wear them and said no to the Alexander Mc Queen show.

We also agree with the round shaped sunglasses, these don’t flatter most face shapes.

And we never understood why Bunny Ears were used in the campaign in the first place, forget about wearing it anywhere outside the set of the photoshoot.
